About the Fabric

Aso-Oke is a traditional Nigerian fabric, usually made from 15cm strips. We work closely with a local weaving community. The strips are cleverly cut and meticulously stitched into this beautiful item.

Good to the Earth

Unlike regular denim, our African denim is a zero-waste design - there is little fabric waste with more work put into the pattern cutting process. It also requires much less water and generally less processing.
